**The Neighbor** is a short, atmospheric yandere / dark-romance chat sim. Everything happens through your phone — text messages, photos, and the quiet dread of someone who is *always* right next door.

You move into a new apartment. Your neighbor, Lin Shen, is kind. He brings you homemade cookies. He fixes your Wi-Fi. He leaves a doormat outside your door before you even ask.

He also knows things he shouldn't. Your apartment number. What time you fell asleep. And there's a photograph in your mailbox of a street you've never seen — with the words *"where it began"* on the back.
